It was an early call and only 5am when I took this shot, in a pretty storm, getting wetter and wetter as the sea came in over my wellies!
Some fellow photographers might say this image has a very bad colourcast, however I set the colour balance correctly to capture this stormy colour mood as it was on that morning. Dunstanburgh, provides the focus point standing proud against the sky.
I like to use negative space to off-set the main subject and give a better sense of openness.
