Blue Domed Church, Kos

Taken on a trip to Kos last week, talk about last minute deal, booked it a week last Tuesday went the next day, 9:30pm flight from Manchester. This church was located on the road from the tourist area of Kefalos up to the old village - quite a walk in the 40 degree C heat! Just loved the colours which haven't been altered in any way. Unfortunately the church was locked so couldn't go inside. I did find one open on my last day and the inside was beautiful, full of little icons. Thanks for all recent clicks/comments.

I know this church and strangely enough was looking at my own photo of it today. The light here is typically unyielding but you've made a strong composition and good use of sculptural shapes.
