Blue Pea (not a medical condition)

By ChiliMan
Hey, people Smile

Goodness…I hadn’t realised how much time had flown me by until I logged in and found a couple of e-mails of concern. So I thought I’d touch base and say ‘hello’.

I’ve been fine, pretty much. I just haven’t been feeling very talkey/conversey/sociey (ok, that last one looks kinda weird in print), I guess. Hence my not wanting to come on lest I sound as interesting as a wooden stump. Actually that’s not fair. A wooden stump can be interesting. Close-up of wood grain. Maybe some lichen. An odd insect or two perched atop. And so forth.

ANYWHO…I’ll get back into the swing of things soon enough, like cruising pfs and leaving silly comments.

In the meantime, here’s something from the archives. A blue pea flower from the garden. Taken in natural light with a piece of white paper shoved behind it.

Hope the weather’s good wherever you are. It’s been raining here. This morning between 8 and 11am there was 10cm of rain. It was on the news. Apparently that’s 60% of the average rainfall for June in just 3 hours. There were flash floods in some places. On the news they showed the city centre and a below-road-level Starbucks fully flooded. Fortunately the only casualties were some biscotti. It could have been worse, people. It could have been much worse.

PS LOVE the comments in the previous pic…lol…from the concerned ones to the funny ones to the scolding ones (re: buttkicking)

Quote:Blue Pea (not a medical condition)
Mictasol bleu, a French over-the-counter cystitis mediaction, has this effect and has I gather caused alarm in many a doctor's surgery.
Love the minimalism.

Fantastic Andrew...looks great against the white background...very mimimilistic...I think that's how you spell it (*.*)
Did you ever think about being a comedian when you were deciding what your future might hold for you?????? you should have been one, the comments you print here are sometimes so hilarious, but then we wouldn't have had the pleasure of seeing your wonderful photos so, we can't have it both ways !!!!!
Take care,

A late comment on your last upload Andrew, as I've been missing for a while myself. As to your opening comment, I know how you feel as I get these spells myself - just have to shake it off Smile
Weatherwise, we've been frying this past several days, 32C each day (shade temp.) + humidity pushing us into the 40's........phew! They are forecasting a change starting tomorrow, we'll see!
Now to prove that I have actualluy looked at your fine upload, and read all the other comments, I'll just say I agree with them all, would quote each, but I don't think Pete and his gang would appreciate that Smile
Rgds., Jim
