Blue skies after the rain

By BarbroS
The intense blue color reflected on the tiles suddenly caught my attention. Tried a low angled shot to increase the visibility of color and texture-

Couldn't ignore this while flicking through thumbnails for good images.
It has a very abstract feel and the colours are lovely.
Very well seen and framed.

An interesting abstract. Well seen and interpreted. Composition is strong and this plays on the textures and minimalist colours. If anything I find the top right corner a little distracting as I find my eye gets pulled up to it. I have tried a rough mod with it cloned to blue and for me it helps the balance of the overall image. What do you think?

I enjoy abstracts and this is a strong example - would look good framed in a series on a wall.

Thank you Coast for your kind words and for the suggested modification, which indeed improves the composition! I must learn to pay more attention ... and listen to advice here. Am here on a trial basis but probably got hooked already ...

Well seen as an abstract, Barbara.
I like the way you have placed the tiles on diagonals, and used the leaf for added interest (I thought it was some type of slug or snail at first). The leaf is well placed in the frame and the patterns, texture and colours are good.
I think Coast means top LEFT corner, and I have to agree that it pulls the eye. Far better to have the whole of your frame filled with the blue colour of the tiles.
Nothing more to add, except Well Done.
Pamela.
