Blue skies at last

By Nettles
After days of torrential rain the sun came out one afternoon.
So as quick as we could we jumped in the car and took ourselves off to Bassenthwaite Lake, mainly to see the Osprey.
We didn't manage to see them that day but did drive around the lake, parked at the north end and took a few shots.

The sky was full of fluffy clouds and beautiful blue, a very welcome change to the black skies we had got used to.

I've just ordered myself an 'Action level' to fit to my camera as I'm getting fed up with wonky horizons and having to trim my shots.
I'll let you know if it is worth the money.

Thanks all,
An action level is a small device that is fitted above the camera on the external flash shoe. It is really small and has flashing lights that tell you when the shot is level or not.
I met a photographer at Castlerigg who had one, I'll post a note when I get it.

Great work Annette know exactly what you mean about horizons, split screens, angled view finder and months of practice to get it right.
