Why don't you combine the two images Keith?
If your using photoshop open V1 then drop V2 on top of it. Add a layer mask, set your foreground colour to black and paint over the damselfly to reveal the b/g layer. That way you should have the colour of the original Damselfly and the modified b/g Smile
