Bluebell

By Irishkate
Another attempt at shallow depth of field but I've added a texture also.
I was delighted that my Grape Hyacinth went down well and thank you all for vs & cs
and a special thank you to Colleen, Lillian and Myra for their valued User Awards - so encouraging.
Got a 2nd in Mono in Club Championship tonight and one of Roma in the Snow
which most of you liked got a 17 (out of 20) The judges don't award many 17's.
So very happy with that as the club has many experienced photographers.
Learned a lot from his deliberations.

I like the processing it goes well, maybe needs a bit cropping at the bottom?. Well done Kate.

a very interesting and abstract vision.. you have made it very delicate.. very interesting and different.. flowers seem to carry almost humane emotions.. appear like having a good dose of sleep, closely knit together in a cold environment.. very nice.
I like the way you have isolated these flowers via color and focus. Keep,up this series, Kate.
