Bluebell Wood walk

By GlynnisFrith
This a bluebell wood just north of Thirsk North Yorkshire, taken mid morning with sun light penetrating though the trees which left wonderful shadows. I think it may have lost some of it's impact due to resizing for the web but thought I would upload it anyway, the scent walking through was fantastic wish I could upload that too lol.

Tech 1/160 sec, f22, ISO 800 @ 28mm

thanks for stopping by

Glynnis

I know somebody who refused to look at another bluebell wood. This however is a bluebell wood walk, it is not flat and it's actually about light and scent (and texture and shape) not bluebells, so I'll pass her the message on!

Bill P.S. You have caught he light here exceptionally well.

Stunnig shot Glynnis, superb light. I'm off on the Hadrian's Wall meet at the weekend - will be well chuffed if I get anything this good!! Smile

Cheers!

Lovely atmospheric shot, Glynnis. We found a woodland near us the other day with just masses of bluebells everywhere.

As you say, the perfume is just overwhelming.

Two lovely images from the Frith household today (I've just seen Tony's baby blackbird). Good to have you both in action again!

Bluebells well captured. When I went out last week looking for bluebells they were past their prime so was lucky to catch a red bug photo
