Bolckow's Temple

By oldgreyheron
Hidden in the woods in Middlesbrough's Stewart Park is this folly created by Henry Bolckow, one of the great wealthy barons of the iron industry and the original owner of the land which is now the park. The temple actually uses railway line components in the roof structure!

Delightful. A very important set of steps, to a very small temple.
