Bond....James Bond

Another night of playing with my toys...
The early Lotus Esprit Turbo has long been one of my favorite shapes in the auto world. It's hard angles and door stop wedge body gave it a very aggressive presence. This example was built for the Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only" NOT "The Spy Who Loved Me" as it says in the title. I just realized my mistake as I'm typing this. You Bond fans out there, please forgive me. Smile

This is one of my over 500 model cars I have on display in my basement. It is 1/18 scale and has very nice detail.

Another wonderful image.
If you put them against an appropiate B/G, we wouldn't be able to see if they were your models or the real thing

I remember going to the cinema in Norwich , Norfolk whilst a teenager , saw The Spy who loved me and later had a tour of the nearby lotus cars factory.
I'm An old git now, but then was a motor car nut and my hero wasnt a footballer but ACBC
