Bonny Scot ....

By dtomo68
46115 - Scots Guardsman makes light work of the 1 in 101 at Hoghton Bottoms with the The Lune Habitat a return rail tour from Carnforth to Chester,
The weather was terrible it was hammering it down when I arrived so I wedged the brolly in the fence and just hoped it would stop before it came luckly it did.

But to my astonishment I herd the horn of the 158 coming the other way guardsman was hammering it up to the summit ,I thought oh no they are going to pass at the same time but they didnt it was fanatasic the noise the smell It cant get much better can it ?

Sorry to those who clicked but I uploaded wrong one

A great image capturing the old and the new. Personally I prefer the old. An image best viewed large.

Great lighting - and you have controlled the exposure really well to retain detail in the shadows and the highlights.
