A Barn Owl (Tyto alba) taken a couple of years ago in Northumberland, on a Birds of Prey workshop. This is a falconer-handled bird. Sadly it was too windy on the day for the birds to fly free but it was fun being able to catch some different viewing angles. This one reminded me of a little ghost popping up to make you jump!

Many thanks to you all for your great support of my last upload, with special thanks to Bob (bobpaige1), John (Kingfisherblue), Mike (Greyheron), Keith (Niknut), Ju (JuBarney), Robert (RobertTurley), Steve (SteveMoulding) and Helen (HelenMarie) for their much valued and appreciated User Awards Smile
