Bow Lake

One of my favourite places in the Rockies, & a bit quieter than chaotic Lake Louise - it is beautiful too, but try & visit early or late to avoid the crowds !

The inclusion of the canoe and it's 'crew' gives a real sense of scale.

It may be small among all that mountain grandeur,but that small amount of red colour of the canoe adds so much to your composition.

Ah, a closer look at those scree slopes ! the canoe with it's occupants seem completely dwarfed by the surrounding scenery.
Fabulous scenery it is too, and so well shown in this shot.
