Bradshaw Brook divides a beauty spot in two post lockdownA Covid Border Anomaly

By philtaylorphoto
11 October 2020. Jumbles Reservoir, Bolton and Darwen. The United Utilities owned reservoir provides a constant supply of water to Bradshaw Brook. The brook supplies the reservoir via the a stream under the large concrete bridge to the North, and exits via a dam outflow, passing under the small green metal bridge, The Brook forms a boundary with Bolton in Greater Manchester on one side, and Blackburn with Darwen in Lancashire on the other. The area around the are is popular with walkers and families taking a strooll around the banks; however if government regulations are brought in for the North, a pleasant stroll where you cross the County Line could leave you in breach of regulations, maybe even a fine. Regulations maty be applied from Wednesday. It's an example of regulations being imposed without thinking of local impact. Walkers I spoke to were unaware of the boundary.

May I apologise to my usual followers for the lack of police tape, flames or tragedy.

It's not even got someone in a mask or a Covid sign. Maybe that's what makes it odd.
