break out!

Trying to encourage the wee muse to escape onto the screen. This is closer to what I was looking for last night. Once morning sprung on me, I looked at the last shot and thought "way too dark". Both literally and figuratively. The whole idea is that the image is breaking through the arbitrary boundary set up by the photographer.

Does this ever get easier? Should it?

Well I think This works well.That bright part of the slash that goes behind the petal really pushes it forward.
