Breakthrough

By CathyI
I thought it was about time for a change from cityscapes!

This is a stitch of 3 separate photos, which I took some time ago on a trip to the Lakes in the hope that I would one day find a suitable tool for stitching them together with! I'd been on an early morning shoot at Castlerigg stone circle and was starting to head back to the car as the clouds were closing in when the sun managed to break through the clouds and highlight Blencathra for a short time...

Technical details:
Exposure: ISO 100, 1/50th secs. @f16
PS Elements: Photomerge function used to create panorama, edges cropped and levels adjusted.
Sharpened/bordered/framed.
