Brecon Canal 1

By achieverswales
Thanks once again for all your great comments and votes yesterday, last Saturday before visiting the Welsh Lavender Farm! We had a very enjoyable two and a half hour trip on the Brecon Canal, a slow 4mph meander through the Brecon Beacons, the weather was changeable but fine, for £7.00 each a trip well worth the money, V1 is the basin where the trip starts and finishes, the cottages believe it or not are housing association, what a place to live, hope you enjoy the journey.

Trev.

Wonderful set of images taken on a very sunny day.
The cottages in V1 are beautiful and so well kept.
Like them all with same colour on doors and so many flowers.
Love V6 also as a stand alone lovely image.

A lovely complementary set of a 'grand day out', Trev. v6 immediately caught my eye, in the style of Constable, a beautiful image. I remember visiting Brecon many years ago. Didn't do the canal but I seem to remember a certain ice cream shop/parlour in the town we would always stop off at, at the end of the day Tongue

What an idyllic set of canalside scenes, it looks a beautiful part of the world. If I go on another canalboat holiday with my mates next spring I shall suggest the Brecon Canal
