Brent Tor

By RockArea
This is Brent Tor, or Brentor, on a bright late afternoon. The 14c church sits at 300 metres above sea level on a craggy top. It is still used and I noticed from a gravestone that a burial took pace as recently as 2007. It seemed to me to be a fair step from access and a steep climb.

I struggled with the low sun to the right of the frame here.

Thanks for your attention, your comments are always appreciated if you have time.

Well positioned in the frame David, good use of the sidelighting to bring out the detail.

Nicely balanced lighting. What a magnificent place for a church.

You can understand why people would choose this spot as their final resting place. Very beautiful. The lighting makes this image happen David.
