Brentor Church, Dartmoor

By RSFphoto
A shot of Brentor church on Dartmoor. The first church was built here in 1190. It stands over 11000 feet above sea level and it's surrounded by an iron age hill fort c.150BC. The church still holds services despite the pretty steep walk. it's worth the effort as it's a special place to visit. It is as sharp a drop as it looks from where I was standing to capture the image.

Amazing place to visit, but not for the foreseeable future due to ongoing restoration work.......
