love the idea of blur. i do like the softness and the mood. this kind of makes me dizzy. i do like her face.
Lovely lighting on the face. When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you'd used a soft focus filter. Keeping the face sharp really makes it stand out.

Somehow this effect gives it a "busy on the outside getting ready kind of feel" with a "calm on the inside" with her face being the focal point.
I created the effect by firstly converting to B&W and then applying a radial blur to an inverted feathered oval selection around her face.
