Bridestones sunset

By MattB
One from a while back that i've only just got around to having a look at. Sunset after a days climbing at the Bridestones, near Halifax. I would have loved some more cloud in the sky for this one but hey ho, you can't have it all!

All comments welcomed as usual, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to comment on my images so far. I've been a member of EPZ quite a few months now i'm learning new skills and getting new inspirations from you folks daily. So ta very much!

Thansk for stopping by

Matt

Love the colours and warm feel to this, not sure about the starburst on the sun though. But that's probably just me Smile

'warm' is obviously the first word that springs to mind but the timing of the shot (sun rays) completes it. (sorry gala98, that's just me)

A very well taken shot.

The sunburst thing is just flare from the UV filter i think. I didn't use a specific filter for it, in fact I cloned out a few bits of flare that were just distracting!

Thanks for the kind comments folks!

Really like the foreground texture you've caught with the low sun.

Love it Matt, its a shame one of the rays sweeps across the detail (is it a barn?) in the middle distance as this would have allowed the composition to flow better. You get a starburst when you shut down the aperture but I think it works really well.

Well done.
