And now for something completely different! Scratching the head for what to upload next, I was inspired by HobbitDave's digital artwork using software called Spektrel Art. It's very similar to software called Fractalius which I used quite a few years ago on my old laptop. However, it won't instal on my current laptop or PC, so decided to purchase Spektrel a few days ago.
Looking for a suitable subject in the archives, I decided on this; the scene always makes me think of the 'Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies' by Claude Monet. Didn't want to try to copy the exact same style as that painting, but create my own, and using Spektrel Art.
It was taken at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, some 12 km from where I live, back in 2011. The bridge crosses over the narrow River Dearne near the bottom end of the Park.
Thanks Dave for the inspiration! 👍
