An interesting, informative shot.
Who, or what, lives in the Middle Ground (green) between the High & Low Towns, Keith? Smile

Many a happy day spent there, cracking shot.

Not quite as exciting as the other two from here. The houses are interesting, I can imagine getting to bed at the top and wondering if I locked the front door. I have a friend stays in Shropshire and she has a town house, she never goes up or down without thinking, should I be taking something with me. I guess you would unless fanatical about keep fit.

Nice one Keith.
Don't fancy living in ''Hightown'' though.
Would be out of puff the time I reached the top !!

Beautiful little town, like the combination of white walls, green treetops and the red bricks.

Interesting how the church and tower to the left dominate from their lofty viewpoint. Quite an architectural contrast to the 'mere mortals' below.

Hi Jack (strokebloke)....The valley sides are 'terraced', so the houses are built on the flat 'stepped' bit, with either very small back gardens, or the house
backs against the vertical bit with no backgarden ! the greenery you see in the pic. is either shrubbery in the gardens, or creepers such as ivy
growing up or over the vertical sandstone 'cliffs' between the terraces !!.......the views from the top show how steep & crowded these valley-sides
really are !! least on this side of the river.....the opposite side (where I was stood) is much more level & open !!...............

Hope that explains your thoughts ?....regards....Keith.
