British Summer VI

By jenquest
And the final one of the series. This is looking back at the entrance to the WSM Pier. I desaturated the colours slightly to give it a cold and abandoned feel.

Again, a spot like this should have many holiday makers milling around, playing on the Arcades, buying fish and chips etc. Instead all you see are the odd person or two.

Hope you enjoyed the series, I have.

Brilliant picture - but i reckon this would look just as good, if not better, in full colour. My personal opinion is that if its a good pic then dont spoil it in photoshop. I would love to see the original. Brilliant anyway tho - well done.

Excellent composition, could maybe do with a bit of straightening though, it looks a bit tilted to me

Summ3r, I'm pretty sure it is straight. I think it's the angle I've taken the shot in that makes it look a little tilted.

I'll have to come up with some cheery shots to make up for this lot.
