Looked up the name hope ive got it right.

Great shot.
I think this is the same species I had in the garden.It looks looks like a Broad-bodied Chaser (Libellula depressa).
If you are interested try looking on www.dragonflysoc.org.uk and then onto U. K . Species page.
It will be a male,most of the posted ones,apart from ours are the brown females.

Good DOF,detail and b/g.
