Broadstairs beach.

By rustyshackleford
I took this with my third digital camera, a Panasonic Lumix FZ28 I think it was. My first was Kodak, very simple it was, which was perfect for getting me into digital photography. It came with this Kodak Easyshare disc, with which I used on this picture. I wanted it to look like a postcard kind of thing. I used it on a few others with pleasing results. To me anyway.

.... and it would please me too, had I taken it. The photo itself is simple enough, but it is the post-capture editing that has made it into the picture you wanted - a pleasing effect, too.
There is enough space around the edges to have levelled off the horizon .... !

Thanks Howard2. You know, it was only fairly recently that I actually noticed I could straighten things on Picasa, my only post production tool. Next time I print copies off, I'll keep that in mind. I never noticed it tailed off. Thanks again.

I have the Kodak Z-980 [B] and ' easy-share '. Makes very good sunrise and sunsets. Also use Picassa every day. Also have the Lumix FZ-28....makes fine macros. Love the FZ-28.
This is a richly coloured full beach and a pleasure. Reminds me of a similar beach off Deman street in Vancouver B.C. TG
You are a man of taste Tony.
