Brown Cows Matter

Because of my title this one has to be in colour. I do have it in b&w and may put it on one day. This is close to where I live. A place called the Cheese Factory. You can buy fresh milk and several fancy cheeses.

Great to have a local dairy farm, we have one too, just 1km up the road. Excellent cheese, butter, yoghurt etc.
Love the image - and especially the title !

PS An amusing statistic : This being a livestock farming area, cattle are the biggest contributor to greenhouse gas in our département - far higher than industry, domestic heating or road transport !

A Hereford among the Holsteins. Must be a good producer though; she's wearing the necklace like the rest. But likely a very lonely cow with her going moo (English) and all the rest going muhen (German).
