Brown Hare

By JohnoP
Early start today at 6am testing our 'home made' camouflage screen to capture our favourite subject - the hare. After a couple of hours as the light improved we noticed that most of the hares were in the middle of the field, so I crawled 'commando style' about 150 metres to get some close ups. This one and it's mate kept a close eye on me, however they seemed happy to let me approach slowly until I was about 6 metres away. A very cold morning and quite windy, but absolutely worth it to spend 3 hours watching these lovely creatures, and very pleased with the detail and colour in this shot.

wow how lucky are you to get such a close up of a hare, they normally scatter well before you get anywhere near.
Great detail,colour and light.
