Brown Velvet

By gingerdelight
Thanks for all your continued support and comments!

Today I have uploaded a shot of a brown and white butterfly (maybe someone could ID it?) captured at Preston Park Butterfly World. It was merrily feeding on a banana!

Apologies if I do not get around to viewing all your work but our internet connection is going wrong today and access is limited and SLOW!!

Have a good day!

Carol

I don't know what type of butterfly - but it's very beautiful and, as usual, love the processing.

I'm afraid I cannot identify it either, Carol, but I can appreciate the detail you have captured in this fine shot.

I don't think this butterfly knows what it is itself Carol,
if it is feeding on a banana !!

The background is so complimentary to the butterfly with the banana suitably disguised.

It looks like a white admiral but it probably isn't as it is one of those exotic species, having said that white admirals do like bananas. A most appealing image indeed
