Hi Will. Nicely seen & captured. Grid & curves - nice urban image.

Grid and curves... but most importantly tower cranes! Very nicely put together image Mr. Brealey, but I think I'd have been tempted to crop the bottom at the line of the glazing. I think it would look tighter and also you'd lose that bit of pink granite, a material I personally have very little time for... that said you would also lose the nice arrangement of the four fixing bolts on the wheel's capsule thingy.

This is a great spot Will. I like the slight ditortion introduced by the glass, the colour is nice, and the pink stone on the right gives context. I like Steve M's mod, too - a little bit darker and more contrast seems to suit.

As an aside, thanks for your continued visits to my pf they are appreciated, even when I don't have tim to say so properly.

Just to clarify my position on 'pink granite' - I am only refering to the small section of the darker coloured granite. The rest of the granite as Steve says, gives it a good context... that's got me thinking about all the contrasts going on - the dated 90s 'vision of the future' corporate powerhouse vs tower cranes building tomorrow's future etc. Oh dear I'm rambling. It's a very clever shot Mr. Brealey the more and more I think about it. Tom

Thanks all. Tom, I know what you mean about the granite! I agree about the contrasts although, of course, none of that consciously entered my mind taking the shot.

I love the mods particularly Steve M's; shows the way forward and takes the shot to a different level, cheers.

Your getting into these reflections ah Will.

Keep me posted on the 'boat' story I'd love to come and have a nose if you get one Smile
