I love the gentle warm hues and the subtlety of this image, as well as the format you have chosen, but the best bit is the bird alighting on the buffalo's back as it moves along. Because the buffalo is in silhouette, it could be coming or going, but its outline is strong enough for us to know what it is. I have returned to this picture because I chose it as worthy of a GEA.
