Bugger this for a game

By Growmore
Chased this bloody thing around a French meadow it was much to fast for me it only stayed still for a second at a time, this was the only shot that was half sharp, for the life of me i can't think what it's called Blush

It's a hummingbird hawk-moth. I've tried many a time to capture them, virtually impossible with a point and shoot. Well done you. Carol

Know exactly what you mean Gary. My son always says that if anyone saw me chasing butterflies round the field they would think I was demented. Then you have to go back and find out what it was that you were chasing and try and ID it. Great shot and your title did make me laugh. Never seen one yet and think I would give up if I did. Cathy
