Bugs & Blooms

This time a post that features macros of the bugs and wild blooms that are around at the moment. Unfortunately I haven't got a shot of the bugs that are eating me alive. Those devious little sods are too quick and deft to be captured.

The opener was chosen because I have seen very few of these this year. I know the population varies year on year but this is the worst year I have ever noted and, sad that I am, I do note bug populations carefully. It is not surprising though because I have seen very few Greenfly this year and that is their favourite food. Whatever, no doubt things will rectify themselves in future years but it has been a very strange year all round.

Always enjoy your works of Art Lynne and I also enjoyed your narrative, that for some reason I thought about in in a heavy Yorkshire accent having spent time with a Yorkshire Regiment. Thank you for sharing.

Too many good images to single out Lynne - just wonderful to see so many lovely flowers
and bugs.

Same here Lynne, very few blackfly and even less ladybirds, but on my daughters allotment there are a lot of ladybirds, A great set SmileSmileSmile
