Building Up Reserves

By teocali
A couple of weeks ago our garden was a busy hunting ground for a number of Spotted Flycatchers (Muscicapa striata) - they were obviously building up their reserves before there migratory flight back to Africa. Sadly they have all now departed and I wish them all the luck in the world and hope they return next year in increasing numbers - they have been on the decline and are on the Red List.
Settings: F/5.6 1/200sec ISO200 manual@700mm tripod

Many thanks for your great response to "Hannah" and a special thank you to Lillian for her User Award - very much appreciated Smile

Love the way you've captured this one Sylvia, great to see it with food although sad to think we're at the time of year when our summer visitors are migrating back to their winter retreats.
