Bull Island Dublin Bay

By Ridgeway
This was taken yesterday evening with a wander with Barryc123 and our nephew IBSean up a bloody steep hill in Howth.
Great expectations but struggeled to get a good one. There was a heavy mist that made things difficult.
I cropped the actual sun out of this on account of the mist,,LARGE if you have a minute,,
Anyway here's a few that I liked,,

Thanks as ever for your time and interest in what I have seen,

Aidan,,

Such wonderful golden colour in V1. It's quite beautiful. Nice that you have Barry for company when you go out looking for your great shots. ........Sandy

I knew all those hours on the sun-bed would finally pay off !

A fine capture in V1 - none of my variants on this came out well - partly because of some dirt on my lens - a lesson learnt there.

I love the almost-abstract sunset.

#3 is an interesting portrait, too. Wouldn't to see a lot blurred like that but it's effective as a one-off.
Love this one Aidan. Lovely tones and great lines and textures.

You'll be shocked to know that I finally got around to uploading a new photo!
