Burbage Walkway ...

By sut68
Thought it about time I posted a shot actually taken on the 'Mini' Meet on Sunday.

We all met up in the car park below Stanage prior to the sun coming up and then scattered to the four winds for sunrise.

The TEAM headed over to Higger Tor, as Fran & myself had never been there. This is looking backwards to the path leading off to Burbage Rocks/Moor. Unfortunately for all attending, the sky was more than a little clear. I decided to try to inject some much needed drama into the shot with the sun ... hope you think it worked Smile

Have a great day and try not to get caught out this morning - be aware of what the date is Wink

Paul

Ta Colin ... would be pretty bland without it - as most of my shots were that morning Sad

I like the way you have composed this so the path meanders off all the way to the left. The fact that you have captured the sun without all the lens flare is amazing - something I haven't mastered yet. The post makes a good focal point too. Nice one.

Yep, it needed the sun in shot, and this is well handled.

It was nice to meet you both.

Your comp makes the shot for me Paul, there was no sky as such for any of you but the use of the path and the sun makes this one work for me.
