Burg Clam ( Part II )

By bliba
Closed restaurants and hotels, no theaters, cinemas and concerts, no events and nightly exit restrictions

This time the stores will remain open, so the Christmas business does not necessarily have to take place in A....n. Service providers, from hairdressers to chiropodists, may also keep their doors open. Inns and hotels must close, but are to be generously compensated.

Restrictions, loosening, promises, aggravations...... After loosening from April and relaxation in the summer, the number of infections rose rapidly again in the fall. Appeals for personal responsibility, contact tracing and regional measures could not prevent the "second wave".
Not even our populist chancellor, who likes to present himself as the messiah and who until recently considered a second lockdown unlikely, could not prevent the lockdown...

if stones could talk .....they have certainly already survived worse crises.......
There is a way out of the lockdown. We should go it together.

thanks for looking

stay safe

Super reflection on a harsh background. In words and pictures.
Urban reflective minimaliism at its best.

A super miniature reflection image and also reflections on the present state of things in Austria. England is going down an even more strict lockdown, with the rest of the UK to follow?

Beautifully taken Oliver and agree with you, if there is a will there is a way.

I love your puddle images--- wonder if one could climb into the puddle like a rabbit hole and emerge someplace at another time!

As others have said, Ollie, what you describe is highly reminiscent of what's happening here in the UK. We certainly will get through it, if everyone does pull together - there are no easy options.
A great use of reflections.

Best to pull together, Oliver, I agree. It's a shame that populist politicians the world over lack a degree of competence.
Your photo is excellent, of course!

It seems that leaders all over Europe are having to do a U-turn when it comes to these lock-downs.
Talking of U-turns, I suppose you could say the Burg Clam has done a sort of one here.

Excellent image Oliver, your words are also a reflection of the worldwide crisis.

Itís a super image but this is going to be a very hard road for us all.

Will this threat ever go away? Not in my lifetime, I fear 😢 I had an appointment at the hairdressers for this coming Friday, but got a phone call this morning to say they'll be closed for a month from Thursday 😳 A fine follow-up here, Ollie 😀👍
