This is a quality capture here paul, and needs more praise, but its never going to get the attention it deserves on here unless its an over saturated landscape.

will have to take it in the middle of a thunder storm with several lee filters fastend in front of my 600mm f4 do you think it would work better

it might a few more clicks and comments it deserves paul lol

i think next year im going to make sure one of my camping holidays is near Newquay and i would love to meet up and be able get get a quality shot like this.

yeah we can meet up on a mid week day, the only thing is in cornwall the surf often doesnt happen in summer months
we are only 30mins drive from newquay with plenty of very good beaches on the way

exposure spot on, great action shot, caught just right. do you apply any exposure compensation Paul? i tried this a while ago but most of my shots were underexposed because of the bright surf, of course i know better now Wink

I normlly use center weighted but swop to matrix when back lit or difficult conditions
also very used to applying levels to water based pics by now!!
