Hello and happy Easter
Here's a shot from yesterday (the Bluebells are a bit early this year), I took this at King's Wood (near Chilham, Kent), it's a good 30 mins uphill trek to see these and I was greeted by a sunbathing Comma Butterfly, which absolutely made my day! (even if it is a bit of a where's Wally composition lol....this shot looks a lot better viewed larger).
It's a 10 shot focus stack, using a 180mm macro lens, the short telephoto focal length really condenses the Bluebells, but then the lenses "compression" characteristics means you can't get everything in focus in one shot....and that's where the focus stacking comes in (using Helicon Focus 6).
Thanks for looking, cheers.
