With apologies to Doris Day who doesn't look anything like this lovely creature!

He looked so tired sitting in his sack that it could have been night time and bed time, so it just cried out for some special treatment!

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments and support, and special thanks for Keith, KBan, for his UA on my recent Sunset upload - you are very kind.

Sorry I have not uploaded for a couple of days. Firstly, I have been celebrating my birthday (thanks to you all for the greetings!), we have taken our son to Bolton University (good luck Chris!) and, sadly, I was told on Friday that I and 170+ others were being made redundant - oh well, it's a sign of the times I suppose. I will just have to dust off the old CV once again!

So it looks like the Orang Utan is not the only one to get the sack! (Ouch, sorry for the pun!!)

Anyway, enjoy the rest of your weekend, and take care!

Carol

Hi - was caught up in your picture and did not pick up on your comment about being made redundant. So sorry to hear that. It is a hard thing to take - my wife has been made redundant twice so have a sense of what it is like. I hope that it works out well for you.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the redundancy, Carol Sad You sound pretty upbeat about the future, though, so that's good.

Impressive image you've put together here, by the way, and no, I ain't monkeying around.

And of course you've got Doris Day singing in my head now (which is never a bad thing).

Wonderful capture and presentation, Carol, excellent work Smile But sorry to hear you've been made redundant, not a very nice birthday present Sad I was fortunate when our department was all shipped out to India and we were made redundant, as being 60 at the time as I was able to take my company pension and 'retire' early - I think they did me a favour! Hope you soon get sorted, take care Wink
