C is for Curlew, Carrot and loads of other stuff...

By NDODS
Good Morning to you all at ePz.

Firstly I would like to thank you all so very much for your caring, kind and sincere messages following my upload yesterday. A further mention going to Bobsblues (Bob) and SimonFletch (Simon) for their User Awards.

Today's upload was captured just a little while ago, whilst out and about with Kizmet and my Support Worker. It shows a rather handsome looking Curlew strutting his or her stuff in one of the many rock pools near to my current abode.

I hope that you all have a great day, and once again thank you all so very much.

Highest Regards Nathan GrinGrinGrin

I see Curlews fairly frequently along our coast but they are notoriously photo reticent!!!! SmileSmileSmile

Well done for getting so close (even at 320mm). They are also at Amber status on the conservation traffic light

Lovely image clarity and really love the beach texture. Can't decide if the seaweed adds to it or detracts from it, but really who cares you out in the fresh air doing what we all enjoy. Taking photos, nice to see you uploading and always look forward to your pictures and words of encouragement you post on our pictures.

Best wishes

It amazes me people saying that it blends in with the background, it's because it is out of focus.

Cameouflaged curvaceous coastal curlew comes closeby catching crustaceans, clams, coastal critters, choosing culinary collection carefully. Culinary challenge completed, cheeky curlew changes course coming close up, causing cameraman concern. Competent caring cameraman's canon camera catches curlew candids, cracking closeups caught courteously, curlew's cause championedGrinGrinGrin
