Calanais Sunset

By kaybee
Better know as Callanish Standing Stones on the island of Lewis.
Somewhere in the region of 5000 years old their original use is still not fully known or understood.
What I will say it they were very nearly witness to a murder on this evening when somebody came and stood directly in front of my tripod as I was about to start shooting - quite deliberately. I am glad to say that he 'took the hint' and moved before I climbed the fence and beat him to death with a tripod.

Great image and there is something about standing stones at sunset. Great job.

Excellent shot!
I don't think there has been a case of "Death by Tripod" yet, but I know that feeling well of someone standing directly in front of you blocking your shot. When disabled you become invisible!

Thatís a terrific image. You really made me laugh with your narrative. Thank you. I needed that today. How utterly rude to stand in front of someoneís tripod! Iím still chuckling at your description of the scene! 😂😂😂😂
