Not got around to uploading for nearly a fortnight, been rather busy, so thought it was time to get back to my canal walk last month! The canal takes a sharp turn to the right from the view in my upload on the 16th September. Just before where the canal ends and rejoins the River Calder is a footbridge, and the lead image was taken from on the bridge and looking back from where I'd walked. V1 is from the same spot but zoomed in. The canal widens out just beyond the canal lock gate, and I think this is so boats can moor up there without obstructing other boats passing through. V2 was taken a few minutes earlier and is looking towards the bridge.
