Camellia time

By ColleenA
Only Another 5 weeks of Winter in Melbourne then Spring starts. Hopefully our lockdown will lift by then.
The Camelias are in full bloom.
Captured with my new Lensbaby Trio 28...three lenses in one. The lead is with the Sweet. The versions are shot with the Twist which gives a twirly background and the dreamy Velvet in V2
Many thanks for your votes comments and user award from Peter from Wales. All much appreciated

Now, i have a lot of Lensbabies, but not that one...

Distinctive bokeh here. I'm guessing this is the Sweet lens in use, out of the three availabl?.

Cheers, Coleen!

Have fun - I've got the longer versions of all three of the optics in the Trio: I believe that you can get interesting results by setting the turret between lenses, to get a sort of composite image.

Yes just read that Iím going to try that today.
Iíve also got all three lenses as seperate pieces. I bought this Trio 28 as specifically made for the Nikon Z so donít need the converter. Also fun to be able to dial a different optic on the move.
A beautiful trio Colleen.

And the Versions make this an exercise for potential Lensbaby owners to look at and compare the differences! This is precisely the sort of scene that suits the Twist. And flowers are often really great subjects for both Sweet and Velvet lenses.

Looking forward to seeing your next post!
