Camellia Williamsii "Donation "Westonbirt Arboretum - Gloucestershire

We spent a good morning at Westonbirt Arboretum with a dear old friend who took us on a tour - we saw Rhododendrons & Camellias in flower, coming together with our friend giving a full explanation of the plants & trees etc which was not only educational for us but very rewarding as well.

This is just one such Rhododendron that we saw with many from China, Persia, India , Japan etc togetehr with some trees such as Redwoods, Sequoia Trees, Acers etc and one for Ian one from the Blue Mountains in Australia ( Wollemi Pine - Wolleimi nobilis )- for which I understand Ian was making a journey thro' the Blue Mountains today to see his daughter

Anyway a good enjoyable day

Arbus is a beautiful camellia photo. We are too far north for camellias....of course in a few years....that could,chamge.
