Can Opener

By Fefe
Thank you all so much for your comments yesterday on my Can of Worms.......all comments considered and I have decided I will give RAW a chance in future....when I feel like itWinkGrin
Here is another RAW offering taken on the same day, RAW images all three versions but all different shots. The lead is just processed in my normal way.
Considering the comments that RAW is much more manipulative, I decided to give the V1 more play than I normally would to trial . So I have altered the white balance more and colours...... Just a bit more than I would .
When I photograph in JPEG I set all my settings fully manual, I like to get things right in camera as much as I possibly can, and the biggest amount of my images are just tweaked to make them as best as I possibly know how...........saying that I love to faff as you also know, but if I have a good faff I say soWinkSmile

Thank you again for comments......very helpful! and Thank you for UA's from BadgerFred, Holmewood, RonnieAG, ddolfelin, and Joop_ on yesterdays image and Thank you Alison_S for UA on my previous image "Bolton Abbey"GrinGrinGrin

Lead image for me. I like the people in this image as they enhance the size of the cliffs. Smile

Your lead image is my favourite. I've been there and this image takes me back there. Such an amazing coastline.

The figures certainly give scale Diane, like what you've done here.

A great set Diane, This is just my general way of using the spot metering, I take one from the darkest part of image and then one from the brightest part and the average the two.
