I'm planning a similar image but I'm waiting for the completion of the Fusilli Freeway. We received a letter this morning from the Department for Pasta Based Transport Systems informing us that HS2 Phase 2b is now not to be and we are indebted to that bloke from the West Midlands wot wrote that play in which 'something is rotten in the State of Denmark ' or up the junction / creek as I believe it's sometimes called. Apparently we here in the East Midlands are going to be electrified and I wonder if this is a euphemism for 'tazered'; I think we should be told. I wonder if Hornby are busy putting in a bid? The letter states that, 'The Government is also undertaking further work to look at how best to take HS2 trains up to Leeds ...' Bung 'em on a low loader up the M1? 🥴
Thankfully we also received a letter from a Mrs Trellis of North Wales: so that was reassuring.
