TEchnically this has no problems at all, it seems sharp, although it may be a little flat, a touch more contrast wouldn't hurt.
Aesthetically I don't think this works as a candid shot, the crop is too tight, as it is it seems like a portrait shot, for candids to work well it really does help to put a little bit of disyance between you and the subject, give the subject a background to be candid in.
