Candle Light II

More messing about with blurry stuff and Pumpkins Wink
I do find it difficult to photography candle flames, I think I need to practice more Blush I like the warm light they give though so that's a bonus.
Added a couple of bottles at the back this time just to reflect the light off the glass.

Lit by the candle you see here and a drop of diffused daylight camera left.
3 frames combined in Lightroom, finished in Photoshop.

The version is after playing with a painterly action, I need more practice with that too.

Personally I prefer the frameless version as it gives an increased feeling of space around the subject.

The image has your style and feel to it. I would have gone for more depth of field and probably ruined it!

I think the lead looks just about right re the candle light.
Version probably has more light than a candle would provide. I prefer that lighter look.🙂

I love the dof, it works and gives place without losing the subject. It is like an oil painting and that is added to with the background blur. My one change would be the scissors, I reckon the plates give enough extra interest and just maybe the scissors are overwhelming?
