Another excellent set Lynne. I prefer the unworked versions but my favourite is V3, the closer view of the London Eye. I have a very similar shot to V1 in my computer.

Just had a sip of the whisky Dorothy brought upstairs to me and had another look. NowI'm not sure about unworked /altered images. Decisions decisions!!!!!

A very nice series. I think V8 is my favorite but it could use a little straightening. It appears to be leaning towards the right.

I seem to like the Portrait orientation in V3. V8 and V11.
A great set with lots of effort in presentation and as
barbarahirst says "making the old town look good".

Thanks Walter, originals corrected. Its too complicated to mess with the versions so they have to stay I'm afraid.

A fine bit of tinkering, Lynne! I'm guessing you've used either 'Find Edges' or 'Ink Outline' to accentuate the edges. I like to use a subtle hint of the 'Find Edges' a lot on shots with buildings, which helps bring out details more and helps cut down bright highlights. Whatever, it's a fine collection here, and think if I have to choose, V3's my fave Wink

You never fail to please - don't think I have enough knowledge (I just keep looking and hopefully learn something) to be of much help!!! As always though the presentation and attention to detail is first class.

I used to like and use these effects a lot, usually far too excentuated. These are far more subtly done, but I still feel I prefer the originals...I am drifting away from these kind of effects.

and V9 that is London so well captured and processed
well done though on the set

I really like this set of images Lynne.
Your “tinkered” versions are very striking with the enhanced detail.
The “Straight” versions are very good but the tinkering gets my vote.
I very much like the compositions of V2, V8 and V10.

This is really tough,Lynne.Grin.. V!&V2, I would go for V2; V5&V6 , I would go for the lighter one,not a great different, but the lighter one has more detail on the right side..;I'm not so sure about V7&V8, v7 has better light, V8 has more detail on the building;V9&V10, I would go for V10...all of them have wonderful borders to enhance the image. Well done.

Yes Lynne, that Mrs Pankhurst was a woman of action who stood no nonsense.Glad I was not married to her though.I reckon I would have felt the thud of her rolling pin on my head when I staggered in late from the pub.I doubt she would have had a rolling pin however.I cannot image her with her being up to her elbows in self raising flour making scones for her hubbies supper in time from him staggering home from the pub.Dunno if she was even married.I might have felt sorry for her hubbie, but perhaps it was not so bad for him. When she went out to do a bit of marching, rioting and indulging in a bit of arson,he could go down to the pub without making excuses about getting a pint of milk or a bag of sugar !!
A fine capital set of pics here.

Lovely London images Lynne, and I've not seen the Eye taken from your V1 view point, so it's rather refreshing to see, and has a kind of 'being there' feel to it. Smashing!
